With investor confidence on the rise, MA activity is expected to continue to increase in Mexico, particularly in the energy sector. In this key legal sector, we identify 46 outstanding individuals.

Galicia Abogados garners seven listings in this chapter, attesting to its leading reputation in the field. Founding partner Manuel Galicia specialises in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and restructurings, and is “top class”. José Visoso is noted for his “sophisticated handling” of transactions and advises on the acquisition of Mexican financial entities by foreign investors. The “excellent” Arturo Perdomo focuses on corporate and transactional matters, while Christian Lippert H specialises in mergers and acquisitions and related antitrust matters.
