Pregnant mom Galicia Malone started having labor pains around 3am on Tuesday, but insisted on voting this morning, even though her contractions were only 5 minutes apart.
Malone insisted on voting in Thornton, Illinois, outside Chicago, before going to the hospital, reports the Chicago Sun-News.
Her due date was not until November 10.
The 21 year old voted for President Obama and told the Chicago Sun-News: “I grew up on Sesame Street and PBS. [Romney] wants to cut that. What will my daughter grow up on?”
