Former IBF featherweight champion Evgeny Gradovich (20-1-1, 9KOs) has found an opponent for his upcoming stay busy fight.

As BoxingScene.com previously reported, the fight takes place on January 9th in Spain.

The opponent will be Jesus Galicia (13-8-1, 8KOs), who comes back from a technical draw with Martin Casillas. He was knocked out by prospect Hairon Socarras in two rounds last December, but last February he stunned Oscar Gonzalez by knockout in ten.

Gradovich had his share of stuggles against fringe contender Aldimar Silva Santos in October, when he won a ten round split decision.

The fight takes place at a catch-weight of 128-pounds.

BoxingScene reported a few days ago, that Gradovich is being mentioned as the potential next opponent for WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire in April. Gradovich has discussed the possibility of moving down to 122 for a world title fight.
