Election outside the country

Maxim Korotkin’s report from Moscow: Native melodies, solemn atmosphere and good mood of voters are bright attributes of the election in Russia. This year the voters were especially active and were coming to precinct No. 106 from early morning.

4 precincts have opened in Russia: in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad and Rostov-on-Don. Besides, Belarusians were able to vote in Sochi, in health resort “Belarus”.

Many voters came to the precinct in organized groups: students, cadets, diplomats. Two buses with Belarusian builders arrived at 9.00 am.

A flow of voters proceeded throughout the day. The 50% voter turnout was reached at 11.00 am. The embassy was attended by guests from other diplomatic missions and representatives of art. Popular guitarist Irina Ignatyuk told that voting is her duty to her country.

Another peculiarity of the election is calm and somewhat homely atmosphere at the precinct.

It is for Belarusians to decide what will be the history of tomorrow. And they made their choice. Its results will be known soon.
