Operation Atalanta Flagship ESPS Galicia Trains with Galmudug Coast Guard

On Tuesday 29 September 2015, Spanish warship, ESPS Galicia, conducted maritime training with the Galmadug Coast Guard.

The trai
ning, which included both theory and practical exercises, covered the maintenance of outboard motors (OBM) and boat embarkation procedures.

ESPS Galicia’s medical team also gave demonstrations on how to treat burns, fractures and severe bleeding.
