今晚是迎月夜，惟本港中午過後風雲色變，天文台指「炎熱天氣觸發對流活動」，本港下午部分地區有大驟雨，更一度發出黃色暴雨警告。翻查資料，本港對上一次「迎月」發黃雨是2010年9月21日，當日凌晨熱帶風暴「凡亞比」近距襲港，天文台除發出三號強風信號外，亦先後發出黃雨及紅雨警告，共達3.5小時。至於今晚迎月夜，市民或須雨具旁身。天文台預測下午及今晚大致多雲，有零散驟雨及雷暴，初時雨勢有時頗大，中秋節正日局部地區仍有驟雨。
