According to CNN, five people who describe themselves as “human rights activists of Mexican origin” are suing Trump, his campaign, his company and his head of Security, Keith Schiller.

The plaintiffs allege that Trump security officials, namely Schiller, assaulted them as they protested outside of a campaign event.

Schiller ripped the sign away from protesters, and when Efrain Galicia attempted to wrestle it back, Schiller hit him in the head with a closed fist.

Along with their lawsuit, the plaintiffs are asking the judge to issue a restraining order so that they can peacefully protest without being attacked by Trump’s security team.

“In my case, they beat me, something I never imagined could happen to me in the United States”, Galicia told EFE, adding that Trump’s security personnel used violence “because they know that their boss approves of it”.

The premise of the protest, Dictor explained, was to raise awareness of Trump’s outspoken comments against Mexican immigrants and immigration policy.
