Dog thrown over fence into refuge
Two people are on Spain’s most hated list after throwing a dog over a high fence into the yard of an animal rescue centre.
Security video captured the incident in Galicia, north-west Spain, which has raised the ire of a nation.

The pair was captured on CCTV failing in their first attempt, causing the dog to hit its head on the fence and fall back into the man’s hands.
Then, the man climbs the fence and his friend hands the dog to him. The dog is dropped over the 3.6m fence, causing it to plummet to the ground from a height.

The Daily Mail reports that the dog limps away from the fence and the men drive away.
A spokesman for the animal refuge, the Os Palleiros Animal Protectorate in Pontevedra said the video showed that the men showed no remorse and gave the dog’s welfare no second thoughts.
‘We will obviously report them to the police,” he said.

“We’re not going to keep quiet. Share this video please. And if anyone thinks they know these men, call the police.
“We have to track them down and end this sort of thing once and for all.
“The dog is lovely. It’s a young dog that is now really frightened and is wondering why all this has happened to him. It hasn’t got a clue where it is.”
