Spanish Company Performs Tipical Dances In Cuba

04 de agosto de 2015, 16:34Ciego de Avila, Cuba, Aug 4 (Prensa Latina) Alxibeira dance company of the municipality Narón, La Coruña, showed for the first time in this Cuban city the most authentic in dance and music of the region of Galicia, Spain.
With a simple choreography, Alxibeira offered a good performance, a nearly impeccable sound of the companion band with its group of bagpipes, bass drum, tabor and tambourines, as well as a variety of well harmonized steps in their trots.
Invited to Cuba by the artistic group Telon Abierto of the Máximo Gómez University, in Ciego de Avila, the group offered dances, songs and music of the villages of Galicia, with an exposition ranging from traditional, ancient dances to the current Mazurka and double step.
