After the rain that fell at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya yesterday afternoon, the riders tackled a dusty track in the morning on Friday which caused some grip problems for the Moto3 category. But that did not prevent Jorge Navarro being the fastest rider in the first practice as the Grand Prix of Catalonia got underway. The Valencian rider started in a highly focused manner and stopped the clock at 1’51.988s. His teammate, Fabio Quartararo, was 0.777s behind, occupying eighth place in the morning session.

Two motorcycle competition mechanics students and a Masters of Engineering student are working under the supervision of engineers and mechanics from the Team Estrella Galicia 0.0 World Championship squad, putting into practice everything they have learned during their studies this year.

The Estrella Galicia 0,0 riders will be back on track for FP3 at the Catalan Grand Prix, from 9am on Saturday.
