Mariscos Linamar’s products are widely known in the domestic and international market thanks to its packaging adaptability, hygienic and recyclable, which is highly valued not only in the Spanish market but also in France, Portugal, Italy, Germany or Switzerland.
The latest technology introduced by te company is the protective atmosphere packaging system.
Mariscos Linamar SL has obtained through a motivating implementation process supervised by Gallega SL Consultants Auditors and subsequent audit by Bureau Veritas Certification, S. A. ISO 22000 certification regarding a management system that guarantees food security, ISO 9001 focused on meeting the quality requirements of its customers, and the International Food Standard IFS (high level) which allows the company to obtain the highest quality and safety in its manufacturing processes and handling of products with a distributor private label.
The main activity of Mariscos Linamar is the commercialization of fresh molluscs including mussels, clams, oysters, cockles, periwinkles and goose bernacle.
In this way the company becomes the first business in its sector to obtain this title in Europe, one of the most important regarding food security at an European level for the food chain’s suppliers. Galician mussels (Mytilus galloprovincialis) from Mariscos Linamar S.L. have also been certified Friend of the Sea. These certifications state the high level of professionalism of Mariscos Linamar, S.L., as well as its concerns for food security and the products traceability throughout the supply chain.

The latest technology introduced by te company is the protective atmosphere packaging system, a technology, which applied to fresh molluscs enlarges its shelf life inside the packaging enabling them to maintain their freshness and quality without the necessity of adding any additives or preservatives.
This technology consists of replacing the atmosphere around the product when packaging it, with another one specially prepared for each kind of food, which helps the product to be kept longer alive inside the packaging for further time.Once opened, the product must be consumed at the earliest convenience.
