Special dinner at Lüke to feature Mixtli chef

Lüke, 125 E. Houston St., is hosting San Antonio chef Diego Galicia of Mixtli restaurant for the restaurant’s next Visiting Chef Dinner.
It’s taking place April 28 and marks a bit of a homecoming for Galicia, who worked at Lüke while attending the Culinary Institute of America-San Antonio. Before opening Mixtli, he worked at the renowned Azul Condesa in Mexico City, and had stints at Atelier Crenn in San Francisco and Moto in Chicago.

Tuesday’s menu includes:
Hors d’oeuvres of chorizo “on a stick,” fried quail legs, ‘oyster bake’ and stuffed avocado
First course: Compressed Watermelon Ceviche with watermelon, sotol, uni and lime juice.

Secord course: Chilaquiles verdes with guajillo-smoked quail, tomatillos and fried yolk.
Third course: Cerdo en pipián featuring pork belly, pumpkin seeds and black beans.
Dessert: A cascarón, with chocolate, strawberries and confetti.
