Atletico Madrid march into Galicia in hopes of continuing their form and using Saturday’s match against Deportivo as a warm-up for their crucial 2nd leg Champions League quarterfinal tie against Real Madrid this coming Wednesday, while Victor is hoping to get a positive result in a potential trap game and salvage his beloved club’s season.
Atletico Madrid will be without striker Mario Mandzukic, who was bruised and bloodied against Real Madrid during the week and will also be without Mario Suarez, who is suffering from a leg muscle injury, while Diego Simeone has also opted to rest centre-back Joao Miranda in favour of Jose Maria Gimenez.
