APROMAR to Develop Sustainable Plan for Macroalgae Culture

SPAIN – APROMAR, the association for Marine aquaculture farmers, is promoting and developing a project entitled ‘Assessment of Exploitation and Sustainable Management of Growing Macroalgae in Andalucia, Asturias and Galicia’in order to develop a plan of sustainability and best practice for the operation and culture
macroalgae.

Two seminars have been organised to communicate the results of the project.

The first seminar will take place on 19 November, 2014 in Galicia and the second  on the 20 November in Andalusia.  

The seminars are aimed at all those with an interest in macroalgae. These include growers, harvesters, processors, researchers, restorers, government public, guilds and associations.
