Galicia and Ryder In Court

Two Great Falls men made their initial appearances in court today after an alleged robbery took place Thursday morning in downtown Great Falls.
Guadalupe Galicia and Lloyd Ryder III are facing criminal charges after the two allegedly threatened a man with a gun at the Cenex gas station on the 600 block of 1st Avenue North.
Galicia is charged with felony assault with a weapon and robbery charges. Ryder is facing accountability charges.
According to court documents, the victim stated he was standing in front of the Zip-Trip convenience store there at around 4am when he was approached by two men who wanted his headphones.
Galicia then allegedly reached to grab the headphones and pushed the gun into the victim’s abdomen. The reported victim was able to escape and go into the store and call 911. The two men matching the victim’s description were later identified and a small handgun was reportedly found on one of the suspects.
Both men are registered violent offenders and Ryder had only been out of prison for two weeks before this arrest. Bond for Galicia was set at $300,000 and $200,000 for Ryder.
