A Longview man received probation and could face deportation after an incident in which he, while dressed as a woman, inappropriately touched a 15-year-old boy.

In January 2012, Longview police said that 41-year-old Sergio Antonio Galicia-Orozco dressed as a woman, met a 15-year-old boy on Lazy Lane in Longview and then touched the boy’s stomach and reached into his shorts.

On Thursday Galicia-Orozco pled guilty to unlawful restraint and received five years’ probation under a plea deal.

“It is only with the victim’s consent, this family’s consent, that I follow the plea agreement,” Gregg County 124th District Judge Alfonso Charles told Orozco during sentencing.

Orozco faced as much as 99 years in prison, but his attorney Tom Tibiletti worked a deal with prosecutor Pamela Ibeh to drop grand jury indictments of sexual assault and injury to people with mental deficiencies.

Orozco must register as a sex offender, pay court fines, and because he’s not a U.S. citizen, he could face deportation.
