POBRA DO CARAMINAL, SPAIN – JUNE 21: Mari Carmen Lago 32, ‘Mariscadora’ (shellfish gatherer) looks on while collecting shellfish at the coast on June 21, 2013 in Pobra do Caraminal, Galicia, Spain. Traditional fishing is an important part of Galicia’s economy. Mariscadoras harvest the shellfish when the tide is low and sell them on the same day at auction under a strict control of the guild. People are also positioned to watch the coast to prevent poachers from taking the shellfish at low tide.(Photo by Pablo Blazquez Dominguez/Getty Images)
