June 22, 2013- easyJet has launched its first ever flight from London’s Gatwick Airport to Santiago de Compostela, the capital city of the scenic Galicia region of western Spain.
The airline company, which is a low-cost carrier and very popular with British travelers, will be flying three times a week, each flight a round trip, to this new Spanish location.
The route is expected to attract countless English tourists and leisure travelers who already look upon Spain as a summer vacation playground.
Those who choose to “holiday” in Santiago de Compostela are likely to be dazzled by what they see. The small city is surrounded by the breathtaking Galician Mountains, a visual splendor that is certain to make the visit to this region seem all the more spectacular.
There are also several beautiful public parks, ample white sandy beaches, wonderful local dining options, lots of entertainment and so much more.
If that were not enough, easyJet recently entered into a “partnership” with Pandores de Turismo de Espana, an iconic hotel chain that is famous throughout the sunny country.
The hotels are spectacular. The one-to-two-week vacations are likely to be very special, as well.
