After the Nuremburg trial proscribed the SS as a criminal organization,
its former members were banned from immigration to the west. The SS
Division Galicia was included in that ban. Smart war criminals don’t
publish their memoirs when they know that smarter Jews are on the
lookout for them. Like Demjanyuk, whether he is who he’s claimed to be,
or not, the welcome mat of freedom is going to get pulled from
underneath him.
