Cumberland County Sheriff’s homicide detectives are looking for a man wanted in the November stabbing of a Spring Lake man.

German Torres-Galicia, a Mexican national, is wanted for first-degree murder in the death of Gabriel Cordoba-Reyes, Sheriff spokeswoman Debbie Tanna said Tuesday.

Lawmen have been looking for Torres-Galicia since Nov. 10 when he allegedly stabbed 35-year-old Cordoba-Reyes. Officials said Cordoba-Reyes was found dead on the living room floor of his home on the 1300 block of Romie Street.

After the stabbing, Torres-Galicia left the scene in Cardoba-Reyes’ 2002 Nissan Frontier. The vehicle was later recovered by officials.

Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Torres-Galicia should contact the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office at 323-1500.
