Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Abel Aguilar has recovered from an ankle sprain suffered in training and will start Saturday’s Primera Division clash with Barcelona.
But Manuel Pablo (hamstring) and Rodolfo Bodipo (back) are both likely to remain on the sidelines.
Carles Puyol, Dani Alves and Thiago Alcantara are all out injured for Barcelona, while Gerard Pique has recovered from his foot problem but is unlikely to be risked from the outset.
Alex Song could return to centre-back duty alongside Javier Mascherano, with Martin Montoya filling in at right-back.
