Edgewater Exploration Ltd TSXV:EDW announced assays from its Corcoesto Gold Project in Galicia in northwest Spain. Results include
5.58 grams per tonne gold over 8.25 metres
(including 23.3 g/t gold over 2 metres)
6.64 g/t gold over 5 metres
(including 16.22 g/t gold over 2 metres)
1.96 g/t gold over 8.1 metres
2.56 g/t gold over 12.8 metres
1.45 g/t gold over 20.5 metres
1.02 g/t gold over 25.7 metres
1.88 g/t gold over 12.4 metres
2.55 g/t gold over 9 metres
(including 16.08 g/t gold over 1 metre)
3.38 g/t gold over 6.6 metres
2.16 g/t gold over 9.9 metres

The Corcoesto Gold Project is located in Galicia province, Spain. Edgewater expects a feasibility study to be released 4Q 2012, and the company has requested that the provincial government designate Corcoesto a “Strategic Project.” A November 2011 preliminary economic assessment estimated a 10-year mine life producing over 100,000 ounces gold annually at $713 per ounce, a $206 million NPV using $1,300 gold and a 24% IRR.
