Edgewater Exploration Ltd TSXV:EDW announced assays from its Corcoesto Gold Project in northwest Spain. Results include
1.09 grams per tonne gold over 57.8 metres
1.77 g/t gold over 16.2 metres
1.29 g/t gold over 47.4 metres
1.05 g/t gold over 43.7 metres
2.27 g/t gold over 18 metres
44.38 g/t gold over 2 metres
4.11 g/t gold over 7 metres
1.18 g/t gold over 23.1 metres
1.12 g/t gold over 23.5 metres
2.27 g/t gold over 10.4 metres
The Corocesto Gold Project is located in Galicia province, Spain. Edgewater expects a feasibility study to be released 4Q 2012, and the company has requested that the provincial government designate Corocesto a “Strategic Project.” A November 2011 Preliminary Economic Assesssment estimated a 10-year mine life producing over 100,000 ounces gold annually at $713 per ounce, a $206 million NPV using $1,300 gold and a 24% IRR.
