While Texas may have rolled snake eyes on the Mega Millions lottery, winner-winner-chicken-dinner luck came that same night to the Covenant House Texas Gala, which raised a record $1 million.

The Casino Royale-themed evening had over 750 fresh fishes and sharp sharks playing their fins at poker and craps as well as auction items like a Tuscan getaway, an Argentinian hunt and a yellow Lab pup.

Chairs Kristen and Neal Carlson honored Aimee and Wynne Snoots with the spirit award, also honoring corporate sponsors EnCap Investments, ConocoPhillips and Silver Eagle Distributors.
