Spain’s TV consumption stays stable

Television consumption in Spain stood at 253 minutes – 4 hours and 13 minutes – on average per person per day during the month of March 2012, according to data provided by Windward.

This figure is 14 minutes less than last month, when it reached the consumer record, and one minute less than in March 2011. The autonomous community of Andalusia, with 269 minutes on average per person per day, leads the ranking in Spain, followed by Aragon – 267 minutes -. Meanwhile, Galicia is the lower consumption records with 214 minutes.

Meanwhile, consumption of now threatened DTT rose by a tenth from the previous month, to 80.1% By contrast, satellite, however, dropped 5%  while cable increased to 14.9%. Catalonia is the region most consumed by DTT. The Basque Country and Asturias are leaders in cable and, finally, Aragon leads the ranking of the Satellite.
